Gravy ¼ c butter or margarine Lumps in your gravy or white sauce? Try turning heat off with the
first addition of milk or broth and stir until smooth with addition of
liquid. When all liquid has been incorporated and stirred smooth, turn
heat on and continue cooking and stirring until thickened. NOTE: Milk
scorches quickly. Do not use high heat and stir constantly.
